Term Break!

Term break starts on Friday!

I got so many things to do during this 2-week break, meet up with old friends, eat, go to melaka, and of course STUDY. :(

But its okay, I know that success in life can only be achieved through hardwork.

I'll update as often and soon as I can during the holidays!

I'm so sorry for delaying my post for so long! I've been busy (as usual) with studies, especially since its trials month.

But no worries, trials ended last week so I have time to spare!

I did nothing much besides studying for the past month (oh and a little bit of shopping on weekends but no biggie :p) so there's nothing much for me update really.

But a few days before my trials started, as a part of the B.O.D of PTPI, I was greatly involved in the family day (more like children's day) held by the club two weeks back.
I think its the club first official community event held by the club, so it was a really big thing for us. I had so much fun getting to know all the little kids and the parents who are mostly have been around the school for more than 20 years! We had a few games, played musical chairs, newspaper island, and had a face painting booth as well ( em and I were in charge! :D ) It went pretty well, from morning till about noon. I have a few pictures of the event stored in my PC and I've been meaning to share them with you guys.

I had so much fun doing this and I really hope that the new B.O.D's that will be elected soon will work towards contributing to the community even more. Its great to be able to put smiles on people's faces :)

Anyway, hopefully I'll have some more exciting news to blog about soon. Maybe about this coming term break in Malacca? Stay tuned :D

Chinese New Year Break

Already back in jail. :(

Last week went by so fast! I had an awesome week, filled with birthday parties, meet-ups and of course a wee bit of shopping. I have a lot of pictures from last week to post, but unfortunately, I left my memory card at home. Hopefully I'll get to post them this weekend when I come back to Subang.

For now, these are the pictures of the birthday celebration I had for my uncle the week before chinese new year. I've been meaning to post them for quite awhile. Lucky I've copied them into my PC from the memory card.

V day

no, no, KA didin't give this to me. Believe it or not, I bought this for KA :) and I made this for him too

with the help from my ma and dad of course. hehe

and a buffet brunch at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur instead. I haven't eaten this much for a very long time. Totally killed my diet.

But I have no regrets. look at the macaroons, pudding and cakes! Who in the world can resist all of that! Not to mention the sauteed mushroom on grilled tomatoes, dimsum, curry chicken, grilled lobsters.... God.

I ate too much. Seriously too much. So instead of being depressed about the amount of food I consumed, I decided to burn the calories away by walking all the way from the hotel to KLCC right in the middle of the afternoon! (crazy kann?)

The traffic wasn't that bad since its chinese new year, so it was safe for us to walk around KL. The both of us felt like tourists, taking pictures and all, looking so excited.heh.

Most of the shops in KLCC were closed, so we only spent about an hour there then we walked back to the hotel again. Still feeling adventurous, we decided to go to bangsar but then found out most of the shops in jalan telawi were closed. :( but we bumped into sya and junita! so good to see them!

Overall, I had a lot of fun today. I can't be any more grateful that I get to spend it with the person I love the most.

I'm Backkk

I've been trying to post since last sunday. I've been so keen to include pictures from my flickr on this blog but I had no idea how to do so. Took me 3 three days to figure out that it could be easily done by using the URL provided by flickr. Silly me.

Anyways, I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while now. Just wanted to share the great moments I had during the holidays. Eating, shopping, meet ups etc. :)

Over the holidays, KA and I explored KL (like always) and found heaven.



Seriously, you haven't lived until you've tried Sushi Tei. The food is marvellous! Much better than plain old Sushi King. The first branch is in Tropicana City Mall. Owh and don't worry, the price range is just as same as Sushi King. Give it a try and trust me, you won't regret it! :)

New Year, New Blog Title

The first half of 2009 went by really slow but then the last six months were pretty fast. Felt like it was just last month I finished my OBS. But I'm not looking back at all. I'm so into 2010 and believe it or not, I'm looking forward to school (although exams will be starting in the first week)! Actually only because I'll be having my own room this coming term. Hehe. I'm already planning to buy decorations for my room (like this night lamp and wall illustrations from +wondermilk)








cool right? I'm in awe of +wondermilk's interior, so I'm thinking of doing the same concept for room as well! A little bit of vintage and modern deco at the same time :D
but of course, I really have to be a math nerd first before going back to school and put this as my second priority. I have to sit for 5 modules in January! Then again, I need a really cozy, pretty, nice room to cope with the stress. :)

and oohhhh to share with you... I bought these pretty earrings today! aren't they adorable?








I got them both for RM 15! Affordable and in great quality too! :D

I promised myself to blog at least once a week. I'm trying to change my blogging style towards writing about happier stuff, like shopping, meet ups, things I look forward to, etc. After all, the new title of this blog means ' sweetness of life' so from now on, less nostalgic, depressing stuff and more of things that make me happy!

hi. sorry again for not updating for so long
so much have happened in my life for the past 6 months. life's getting harder but in some way getting better by the day. :)

I've made great friends, with those i've never thought that i'd be close to. life is seriously full of surprises.

for now i can gladly say that I'm actually enjoying my life in college. Though Ive been through countless tough times in this college, somehow it grew on me.

I'm so glad that I've moved on with my life and forget whatever in the past. i can't say that I've forgotten about everything, but those memories that i don't tend to keep, they're slowly fading away.

OBS, STE and the summer holidays changed my point of view on life a hell lot. Ive discovered so much about myself, friends and life. to those who had helped me through the obstacles, thank you so much.

obs was a great challenge, kayaking, solo camping and hiking really pushed me beyond my limits. till today, i still can't believe i actually went through all that. but thanks to irau, i survived. :)

ste was fun. met a few other petronas scholars and great friendships were made. i miss them so much.

celebrated my 3rd year anniversary with my sayang last august. felt like it was just yesterday when i first saw him. 

had a trip to singapore. just the two of us.

love you more than ever baby

so,for now, life is okay. i'm happy.

I am now back in the jail once again. :s

trying to cope with my studies now. but still not trying my best.

Things Have Changed For Me And That's Okay.

I'm going off to college tomorrow so i better at least write something before i go. God knows the next time I'd be able to write again.

I can't say either time flies fast or slow.

To all my friends, thank you for making my high school years the most amazing years in my life. I'm gonna miss all the special moments(and some that i've already missed), i spent with each and every one of you, filled with laughter, joy and even sadness.

Words can't describe how much you mean to me.

Eighteen and Preparations

guess what?

I've turn 18! This is not exactly news since my birthday was two weeks ago. hahaha

I have to say this year's is one of the best birthdays i've ever had (not just because i got the best birthday gift ever hehe) ! All thanks to my family, friends and especially sayang. :) I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Apart from turning a year older, I've been so busy with preparations. Not just mine, but darling's too!

God, why is this taking so long? Seriously, I can't wait to enter college. Not that I'm that excited to go, just that i'm restless and all i do now is spending and wasting my money.

I've been visiting my friends who are now college students already, which makes me more eager than ever to jumpstart my life again.

anyway, despite the dreadful days i went through , i actually had a decent time with my family last weekend.

I went to KTJ last saturday with my family to pick up my uniform (petronas is paying for everything! how cool is that??) so i had the chance to see close-up how the college looks like in real life.

the scene was breathtaking. seriously. Though i know that i'll take my words back once i start going there, but it was really beautiful. The whole place is literally covered by trees. The buildings are very british-like, really historic looking. Although the place is quite secluded from everywhere else, i feel that its the right place for studying. Like my mom said, far away from the city life, far away from the distractions and shopping centres :P

The uniform is basically white, grey and a little bit of dark red, close to maroon. The colour of the blazer is according to the form, so mine is grey. I'll upload a pic of myself wearing the uniform later.

I know that this is hardly an update but i promise i'll write again soon.
got a medical checkup tomorrow(aaaa blood testtt, needles :s) so gotta get some sleep.

Painful to be Beautiful

I've started to control my diet since 3 days ago

besides exercising, this is the other way I'm using to keep myself from eating too much :

everytime i see food in front of my face, i'll force myself to remember the moments that made me feel outmost terrible about my body. Just now at dinner, i recall the gathering last december, which was the one my friends and i had right after the end of our major examination.

that night i wore (used to be) my fav white babydoll blouse and my pair of dark blue jeans.

thank god it happened towards the end of the night. Otherwise, it could've spoiled my whole evening.

I was helping my friends, cleaning and packing some stuff on one of the dining tables, when this guy (my friend's boyfriend i think) stood at the opposite side of the table and looked at me with the 'ini bukan ke....' expression on his face (sorry, can't find the exact words that could define how he looked). And then, he asked my friend , " Ini bukan ke... yang sama futsal team ngan korang dulu?" "Yelahhh!" replied my friend with an annoyed tone in her voice. THEN, these words came out from his mouth, 'eeeeeeeeee...... dah gemuk!!! eeee.. mok mok!'.

So i guess you can imagine how I felt after that.

i've actually tried a few diets before this, but none lasted more than a week. So, hopefully this will be THE ONE.

Other than trying to avoid myself from possibly stuffing my face without control, i've actually done a few interesting stuff these past few days.

Last Sunday, I took a whole tour of Klang Valley with my sayang. Well of course not exactly the WHOLE of it. hehe

It was really fun, i would say. I end up having a headache when i got back home. Trust me you would have one if you were me. We started off going to Bangsar first , then Gardens Mid Valley, KL (near bukit bintang and also heritage) , Mont kiara, Hartamas, and Mutiara Damansara (curve, ikano and ikea).

crrrrazzzy right?

haha. That's us. If we had more energy, who knows, maybe we could have been in Penang, eating Asam Laksa over there already.

woke up this morning and realised that i was late with my meet up with you. I quickly got up and took a bath, with my eyes hardly opened. Excited i was to see my bestest friend in the whole wide world :)

I still remember the first time i saw you, we were still in our primary school. Though you had been my schoolmate for years , but i never really noticed you before. It was sometime in the afternoon, school hours had just finished. "Itulah Nadiah, kelas sama dengan kita. Dia pun suka Fahmi" said one of my close friends, with her finger pointing at the girl who stood behind the school's public phone. My friend wasn't in good terms with you, seeing you as a threat as both of you guys had crushes on the same guy (haha do u still remember?). Never had I imagined that you would turn out to be the most amazing girl i've ever met.

We only started being friends when we entered high school. After being in the same class for two years in a row in usj12, we became the best of friends.

I've never been comfortable with anyone as i am with you. Whenever, whatever, wherever, you're always there for me. You understood me like nobody else could (other than darling of course, heh) and made me feel good about being myself. You're the best friend there is. I've always hoped that i could do the same for you.

Though I know that you've gone through a lot of hard times in the past two years, but I hope that you will stay tough as you have always been. I am sorry if at times I wasn't there when you needed me the most as how you've always been there for me. I know that we will be busy with our own lives soon, but I will try my very best to be there for you. No matter what, no one could ever replace you as my best friend. You're truly one of a kind, Nadiah.

god, its soooo hard to upload photos into this blog. maybe i'm the only one who's having this problem, all because of my snail-pace connection. nama je maxis. tak boleh harap.

as you know, i am going to the same college as my darling. but, fyi, i am not as lucky as him, being able to afford going to a place that grandeur. Luckily, i have successfully secured a scholarship and one of the lucky ones placed in KTJ . Thank God. thought they were going to send me to a crappy college just to save their budget. heheh.


anyway, there's nothing much happened today. but i'm going off to gardens later. promised to company ma shopping. not me tau, its my mom hehe. yeah right dee, cnfirm you pau your mom for something.

the reasons on why i decided to have a blog:

1. I HAVE TO IMPROVE MY ENGLISH. i've been saying that since for ever! i'm so inconsistent. i started of by having a diary, but that wore off in a couple of weeks. exercises, bluek, i've finished school already for God's sake. ngeh. can't think off other ways(except talking and writing of course), so i hope by having a blog, i'll be addicted to it, and have the will to write english as often as i could. plus, i'm going to college soon, and i heard they hardly speak malay over there , so i don't wanna be a social outcast just because of my poor english.

2.cause i can't stand looking at other people's blogs. their lives are really colourful, so i want to show off mine as well heheh. (i wish):P

3. what else... hmm maybe because its real cool to have a blog. haha

okay, what to write for my first entry... owh lets start with the news i got yesterday that made me overwhelmed with happiness.

darling's going to the same college as me!!! hoorayyy. Along with his parents, he paid a visit to kolej tuanku ja'afar yesterday and the parents even insisted sending him there! Thank God. although its reallllll expensive (close to 90k to finish off a'levels there) , but his father doesn't mind at all. " don't u worry about the money, let ME worry about the money" he said. gosh, rich peeps.

can't wait to start college, though seems like i'm not ready yet. my ma said i can't even take care of myself , what more going to a boarding school? haish. ill prove to her i can do it! heh

other than that, nothing much. i'm really broke now. so guess ill be home pretty much so no interesting stuff to tell.

so i guess that is all for my first entry folks. hope ill keep up with this thing. sorry if this blog's plain and boring, but you're the one who chose to read it! hehe. :P
